Happy Birthday Devon

we had a small dinner at my moms for Devons birthday, it was alot of fun! Devon got a new swingset fom his Grandma and Grandpa Powell that I will try to post pictures of later and he got a new bike from Grandma and Grandpa Ivie. Devon loved all of his gifts and told me he had a very fun birthday! thank you everyone for the gifts and mom for the dinner.

I have not been able to blog in over a month. April was a very busy month for us! My brother and sister in Law came down for a couple days and we were so excited to get to spend time with them and there baby Aden! He is so cute! Korban and Aden are only eight days apart but are two way different baby's. Aden is always moving it is so funny, but it has to be allot of work for his mom. Korban and Aden both got there two front bottom teeth. While they were here they helped us bring Devons new swing set that his Grandma and Grandpa Powell bought him for his birthday so I would like to tell them thanks for there help! We also went to the dinosaur museum in Vernal, Devon had a great time and now only talks about dinosaurs!

In April was also My Father in laws 50th birthday my dads birthday and my moms 50th birthday! we hope you all had great birthdays. We threw my mom a 50th suprise birthday that was alot of fun, and I think she was very suprised! April was a very busy month and we have an even more busy month in May and are looking forward to all of it!

New Truck!

This weekend we went to Ogden and decided to trade in the Durango and get another truck! We seen this truck and both of us knew it was the on! It is an 07 Dodge Mega Cab so it has allot of room. I was really sad to let the Durango go I loved my car but this will be better for our family.

One of our family reunions this year is going to be at the Pinnacles. We decided to drive up there this weekend because Dustin had never been there. Just a fun drive on a weekend with nothing to do! These pictures are of a small hole in the rocks that looks like a cave, we told Devon there was a bear in there so he grabbed his flashlight to check it out.

Bowling

Today my sister and I decided to take Devon bowling, it was so much fun he acted like he was a little pro telling us how to do it. It is only his second time but he has allot of fun. Korban even got in on the action! Devon was way mad when we had to leave, he told me he was just going to sleep there, that he didn't want to stop bowlen! I guess we will have to take him again soon.

This is Devon with his dog Pepper, who also happens to be Devons best friend. We got Pepper about a year before Devon was born so he has been there from the begining. Devon loves him so much and Pepper lets him do whatever whenever, it is the cutest thing you will ever see!

The other day we put Korban in his jumper for the first time, he is still to young to actually know how to jump but his face was so funny. He liked the lights on the front so it did entertain him for awhile. It was always Devons favorite thing to do. We would put him in it, and he would jump for hours.

This is my first blog....I have decided to begin blogging to express thoughts and feelings and to share our life story with friends and family. I guess I will start by the most recent events in our life. We have a two year old son Devon who is about to turn three years old. We recently added another boy to the family who was born in November 2008, Korban Manning. Having another child has changed our lives completely. We love every minute of it and would not change it for the world.
Last summer we bought a camper and a boat so we are looking forward to it getting warm again so we can go and play. This last weekend my parents along with some of their friends went camping, they are definitely what we call die hards. It was still a little cold for us so we only went for the day. It was so fun to get the kids out of the house and outside. It was really Korbans first time being outside for more than a few minutes and he smiled and looked around the whole time and of course Devon never stopped running. we had a blast and can't wait for more!
